Amine Nasseur
Amine Nasseur began training in theatre in Casablanca during the 1990s, first through youth education associations, the amateur company Abâad and a Stanislavski workshop at Hassan II University. He later graduated in acting from ISADAC and began his professional career in 2002 with Tayeb Seddiki’s Masrah Ennas in El-Harraz.
As director of Thifswin Theatre in Al Hoceima, he developed a trilogy on migration: Péricola, Parkigh and Chatarra. His work has received major awards, including the Grand Prize at Morocco’s National Professional Theatre Festival in 2019 for Al-Khâlfa, the Grand Prize at the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre in 2022 for Chatarra, and the Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Prize at the Arab Theatre Festival in Baghdad in January 2024 for Taknza… The Story of Touda. He has also adapted Yassin Adnan’s novel Hot Maroc for the stage and presented Data Love, a production about artificial intelligence, in 2026.
