Hindi Zahra

Born in Khouribga in 1979 and based in Paris since 1993, Hindi Zahra is a Franco-Moroccan singer-songwriter, painter and actor. Raised in a family of Amazigh artists, she sings in French, English, Moroccan Arabic and Tamazight, bringing several musical and linguistic worlds into the same body of work. Her debut album Handmade, released in 2010, received the Prix Constantin and the Victoire de la Musique award for World Music Album of the Year. Her music combines intimate songwriting with folk, soul, jazz and North African influences, establishing her as a distinctive voice between Morocco and the international scene.
