Younès Rahmoun
Born in Tetouan in 1975, where he continues to live and work, Younès Rahmoun is a Moroccan visual artist. He graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan in 1998 and developed a methodical practice spanning drawing, installation, sculpture and video.
His work often combines modest materials, precise systems and spiritual symbolism. Repetition, light, shelter and contemplation recur across forms that remain visually restrained while carrying multiple cultural and philosophical references. His installation Manzil-Janna entered the Centre Pompidou collection in 2015, and Taqiya-Nor was presented at the Venice Biennale in 2017.
