A house of culture in a historic building
The El Kelâa des Sraghna House of Culture stands in the Souaiguia neighbourhood within an architectural complex arranged around a large riad. It is one of the city’s principal public venues for performance, reading and cultural exchange.
The institution includes an exhibition gallery, three workshop spaces dedicated to computing, visual arts and theatre, libraries for adults and children, and an open-air theatre. These facilities support performance, music, film, conferences and cultural outreach.
Heritage arts and contemporary creation
The House of Culture hosts theatre, visual arts forums, training activities and the National Heritage Arts Festival, highlighting popular music, traditional practices and artists from the province.
