A major multidisciplinary cultural institution
The Tangier Palace of Arts and Culture is a major public venue on Mohammed VI Avenue. It opened on 30 April 2024 during International Jazz Day and now hosts artistic, cinematic and cultural events of national and international scale.
The institution extends well beyond a single theatre. It includes a main auditorium, two smaller halls, creative spaces, galleries, a recording studio and areas for children.
Performance, cinema, exhibitions and education
The Palace has hosted recent editions of Morocco’s National Film Festival, the National Youth Theatre Festival and major concerts and cultural forums. It also contains branches of national institutes working in fine arts, audiovisual professions, cinema and dramatic arts.
