Dream City is a contemporary-art biennial conceived in and with the medina of Tunis. Led by L’Art Rue, it commissions artists to develop work in dialogue with residents, places, memories and urban change.
The medina as a creative space
Performances, installations, theatre, dance, music, film and public conversations unfold through houses, streets, squares, heritage buildings and cultural venues.

The 10th edition ran from 3 to 19 October 2025, continuing Dream City’s approach of long residencies, local collaboration and artistic commissions connected to contemporary social, political and ecological issues.
