Druga Godba is an international Ljubljana festival devoted to music moving between territories, traditions and contemporary forms. Since the 1980s, it has offered an alternative to rigid categories and highlighted artists often overlooked by mainstream circuits.
Listening to the world differently
The programme connects African, Asian, Latin American, European and Mediterranean music without reducing it to folklore. Selected projects combine popular heritage, jazz, rock, electronics, improvisation and sound research.
A platform for encounters
Concerts, professional exchanges and international partnerships make Druga Godba both a discovery space for audiences and a circulation platform for artists. Several Ljubljana venues form an urban musical route.
2026 edition
The 42nd edition takes place from 27 to 30 May 2026 and continues the festival’s commitment to cultural diversity and adventurous listening.
