The Festival européen de musique en Algérie is a cultural-cooperation event connecting European and Algerian scenes. Its programme extends beyond concerts to include creation, encounters and knowledge sharing.
A platform for cultural dialogue
Led by the European Union Delegation in Algeria with its partners, the festival hosts artists from different European countries, often alongside Algerian musicians. Programmes can range from traditional music and jazz to pop, electronic forms, world music and dance.
2026 edition
The 26th edition ran from 13 to 16 June 2026 at the Algerian National Theatre Mahieddine-Bachtarzi. Music and dance performances highlighted the diversity of European artistic expression.
