From 30 September to 11 October 2026, the Athens International Film Festival — Opening Nights — returns to several cinemas across the capital for its 32nd edition.

The festival presents international premieres, independent cinema, established filmmakers, competitions and Greek short films. Screenings are accompanied by encounters, tributes and activities for professionals and general audiences.
