The International Short Film Festival of Cyprus is the country’s official meeting point for short-form cinema. Based at Rialto Theatre in Limassol, it connects an international competition, a national selection and emerging cinematic languages.
Contemporary short films
The programme spans fiction, documentary, animation, experimental work and hybrid forms. Screenings are accompanied by filmmaker encounters and activities linking audiences, Cypriot creation and the international film community.
2026 edition
The 16th edition is scheduled from 10 to 16 October 2026. The festival is organised by Cyprus’s Department of Contemporary Culture and Rialto Theatre.
