Kamfest turns Kamnik into an open cultural stage every summer. Concerts, theatre, film screenings, exhibitions and family events spread across streets, squares, parks, courtyards and historic buildings.
The city as a creative space
The festival develops its identity from Kamnik’s geography. Artistic projects connect heritage sites with neighbourhood spaces and temporary venues, allowing residents and visitors to experience the town differently.
An accessible programme
Music, theatre, visual arts, cinema and children’s creation meet in a programme that is largely free. This accessibility has made Kamfest one of Slovenia’s most important urban cultural festivals.
2026 edition
The 23rd edition runs from 7 to 15 August 2026, bringing Slovenian and international artists to venues across Kamnik.
