Festival Early and classical music Radovljica and Velesovo, Slovenia 8–25 August 2026 (44th edition)

Radovljica Festival

International early-music festival presenting historically informed performance, rare repertoire and specialist artists in heritage venues.

Early music performance at Radovljica Festival

Radovljica Festival is one of Slovenia’s main early-music events. It presents specialist performers, rare repertoire and historically informed approaches in the heritage settings of Radovljica and Velesovo.

Exploring several centuries of music

The programme moves through medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and early classical repertoire. Familiar works meet rediscovered scores, historical instruments and musicological research.

Venues that shape listening

Concerts are held in Radovljica Manor’s Baroque Hall, Velesovo Church and other historic spaces. Their acoustics, architecture and proximity to performers create an experience distinct from contemporary concert halls.

2026 edition

The 44th edition runs from 8 to 25 August 2026 and brings together international soloists and ensembles, with transport arrangements connecting festival venues.
