Romaeuropa Festival is one of Italy’s leading platforms for contemporary creation and the performing arts. It moves audiences across dance, theatre, music, performance, digital arts and hybrid forms throughout Rome.
An international platform
The festival hosts artists from Italy, Europe and other regions in theatres, auditoriums and creative spaces. It emphasises contemporary writing, exchanges between disciplines and works that address social and technological change.
The 2026 edition
The 41st edition runs from 8 September to 15 November 2026, with one hundred performances, returning productions and more than one thousand artists.
A professional reference point
Romaeuropa is useful to programmers, artists and students following new stage languages, transdisciplinary practice and European production networks.
