About this event
Presented as part of Karacena 2026, “Rihla: Trajectories” is a contemporary circus production by Compagnie Tadour, produced by La Carrière. Three performances are announced between August 24 and 30, 2026 during the biennale organised by AMESIP and the Shems’y National Circus School. Four dancer-acrobats from different backgrounds explore travel, exile, memory and life paths through an intimate question: how can one tell the story of moving from the “there” where one grew up to the “here” where one is trying to build a place? Their physical language combines acrobatics, dance and circular movement around a rotating, tilting platform that acts simultaneously as apparatus, constraint and metaphor for instability. Delicate yet powerful, the production gives bodily form to imbalance, obstacles and the ties created between performers. The precise performance dates, times, venues and access conditions will be added once Karacena publishes its detailed schedule.
