TARZ — Embroidery in Morocco, Past and Present

TARZ traces Moroccan embroidery from domestic and ceremonial textiles to contemporary creation. Works from the Musée d'Angoulême, additional loans and new pieces by Fatima Lévèque with Moroccan workshops illuminate regional schools including Fez, Tetouan, Rabat, Salé, Meknes, Chefchaouen, Azemmour, Tafilalt and the Anti-Atlas. The exhibition foregrounds women's expertise, intergenerational transmission, motifs and material techniques.
