Expressions CDG Art Gallery Rabat

## The CDG Foundation’s exhibition gallery Expressions CDG is an art exhibition space operated by the Fondation Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion at Place Moulay El Hassan in Rabat. Inaugurated in 2010, the venue shows painting, sculpture, photography and other visual art forms. Its programme includes exhibitions initiated by the foundation as well as collaborations with artists, associations and partner institutions. Activities range from retrospectives and individual presentations to thematic group projects and artistic initiatives connected with community engagement. ## Moroccan artists and exhibition history The gallery provides display rooms for paintings, installations and related interpretation. In November and December 2025 it presented “Abstraction plurielle”, tracing decades of Moroccan abstract painting. The Ministry of Culture catalogue lists artists including Malika Agueznay, Fouad Bellamine, Mohamed Melehi, Mohamed Kacimi and Abdellah Dibaji. The programme explored geometric, gestural and biomorphic approaches without limiting the selection to a single generation or school. ## Events documented in 2026 From February into March, the gallery hosted “Métamorphoses”, organised with the Moroccan Association for Support and Assistance to People with Down Syndrome (AMSAT). The exhibition presented works developed in recycled-paper and origami workshops. On 1–15 July, the CDG Foundation and the Mohammed VI Centre for Solidarity Microfinance Support held the second Solidarity Artists Salon, featuring work by 24 Moroccan artists in painting, sculpture and craft-based media. ## Visitor information Address: Place Moulay El Hassan, Avenue Moulay Hassan, Rabat.
