The Goethe-Institut International Coproduction Fund supports new productions and the development of existing work in music, theatre, dance and performance. Interdisciplinary, hybrid and digital artistic projects may also be eligible.
The lead applicant may be an artist, collective, association or institution based outside Germany. The project must be developed through a genuine and balanced artistic collaboration with a partner based in Germany.
Funding requests must be between EUR 15,000 and EUR 30,000 and may cover no more than 75 percent of the total budget. At least one performance must take place outside Germany. Applicants should contact the Goethe-Institut in their country before submitting. The second 2026 application period runs from 15 July to 1 October.
