Cairo Jazz Festival — CJF — is Egypt’s main festival devoted to jazz and its contemporary crossings. It brings local and international artists to several cultural venues across Cairo.
More than a concert series
The programme combines concerts, fusion projects, jam sessions, club performances and original collaborations. Musicians from Egypt and many other countries take part, with particular attention to independent scenes and intercultural exchange.
Transmission and mediation
Workshops, Jazz Talks, screenings and encounters extend the live programme. Jazzinino introduces children to jazz and places transmission at the centre of the festival’s approach.
Latest verified edition
The 17th edition ran from 30 October to 7 November 2025: nine days, more than twenty concerts and artists from fifteen countries according to the official website. 2026 dates are not yet confirmed and will be added after an official announcement.
