Budva’s International Carnival ran from 30 April to 4 May 2026 with masked groups, parades, street music and children’s events across the Riviera and Old Town.
The 2026 edition
The traditional Abrum travelled from Petrovac through Pržno, Sveti Stefan and Rafailovići before reaching Budva. An international parade, a children’s procession and tribute concerts animated the streets and city walls.
Why this festival matters
The event combines a local tradition of collectively calling people to the celebration with participation from international carnival groups. Budva’s Old Town becomes an open street theatre.
