From 21 to 26 July 2026, Cinehill turns Fužine and its lake-and-forest landscape into a cinema village, screening more than one hundred independent titles in tents and under the open sky.
The 2026 edition
The 28th edition combines features, shorts, films for young audiences, filmmaker encounters, workshops and a free music programme. Director Edward Berger receives the Maverick Award, while Montenegro is presented as partner country.
Why this festival matters
Born from the Motovun Film Festival, Cinehill relocated its experience to Gorski Kotar. Its identity combines independent film discovery, close contact between artists and audiences, and a festival model attentive to landscape and environmental impact.
