Countryside Animafest Cyprus – Views of the World brings auteur animation into Cypriot villages. Its rural setting, open-air screenings and commitment to emerging artists give it a distinctive place in the Mediterranean festival landscape.
Animation, place and learning
The festival presents international films, many receiving their Cyprus premieres, alongside Cypriot work, screenings for young audiences and educational activity. Its Animation Film Camp also connects students and emerging creators with professionals.

The 25th edition takes place in Koilani, in the Limassol district, from 6 to 9 August 2026. Held annually since 2002, Animafest is one of Southern Europe’s longest-running animation events.
