National gathering devoted to Ahidous, Amazigh collective poetry, rhythm, dance and intergenerational transmission in the Middle Atlas.

The National Ahidous Festival of Aïn Leuh brings together poetry, singing, percussion and dance performed collectively by Amazigh communities.

A collective practice

Ahidous combines rhythm, movement, poetic speech and group cohesion. Performances reveal a wide diversity of regional styles, costumes and repertoires.

Transmission and recognition

The festival provides a national stage for troupes and pays tribute to artists who ensure the continuity of this intangible cultural heritage.
