From 6 to 8 August 2026, Freshwave Festival takes over Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka with electronic, urban and contemporary music by regional and international artists.
A fortress turned into a stage
Founded in 2012, Freshwave has become a major event in Banja Luka’s cultural summer. The historic setting of Kastel Fortress gives the festival a distinctive identity, bringing together urban heritage, night-time stage design and club culture.
Several stages and audiences
The programme moves between electronic sounds, urban music and hybrid projects. It combines headline acts, regional artists and a collective festival experience attracting audiences from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighbouring countries.
