Festival Performing arts Several cities in Cyprus September; 2026 programme to be confirmed

Kypria International Festival

Cyprus’s major public multidisciplinary festival presents music, theatre, dance and opera across several cities each September.

Skali Amphitheatre, one of Cyprus’s open-air performing arts venues

Kypria International Festival is one of the main institutional events in Cyprus’s cultural calendar. Each September, it presents music, dance, theatre and opera across several cities, bringing together Cypriot, Greek and international productions.

A festival across the island

The programme travels between Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and other venues. This territorial model enables major productions to reach audiences beyond a single cultural centre.

Several performing arts disciplines

Kypria features orchestras, dance productions, theatre, opera and hybrid forms. It creates opportunities for exchange between Cypriot artists and visiting ensembles while giving the performing arts national visibility.

Editorial status

The festival traditionally takes place in September. The detailed 2026 programme should be confirmed on the official portal before individual dated events are published.
