The Lorient Interceltic Festival is one of the world’s largest gatherings dedicated to Celtic cultures. For ten days, musicians, dancers, ensembles and audiences come together from Brittany and the different Celtic nations.
A shared culture with many expressions
Traditional music, pipe bands, folk, rock, jazz, symphonic works, electronic music and contemporary creation all have a place in the programme.
A city transformed
Concerts, open-air stages, festoù-noz, competitions, meetings, the grand parade and night-time productions turn Lorient into an urban celebration. A substantial part of the programme is free.
2026 edition
The 55th edition runs from 31 July to 9 August 2026 and places Cornwall at the heart of its theme.
