The Malta Jazz Festival is one of the archipelago’s most established music events. Since 1991 it has brought international figures, Maltese musicians, emerging talent and audiences together in Valletta’s urban and maritime setting.
Concerts, learning and memory
The programme extends beyond headline concerts through workshops, late-night sessions, talks and projects documenting Malta’s jazz history. The 2026 edition also highlighted Maltese composers and the festival’s own development.
2026 edition
The festival ran from 6 to 11 July 2026 at Valletta Campus Theatre, MICAS, Quarry Wharf and partner venues.
