The Marseille Festival is an international platform for contemporary artistic practices. Dance, theatre, performance, music, cinema and visual arts circulate through different neighbourhoods and cultural venues.

Marseille as a creative territory

The programme draws on the city’s port and Mediterranean identity, connecting artists and narratives from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and other international scenes.

Moving forms

Projects explore bodies, memory, migration, social relations and urban change, often through collaboration and site-specific creation.

2026 edition

The 31st edition runs from 14 June to 8 July 2026 and confirms the festival’s role as a Mediterranean cooperation platform.
