The Moulay Abdellah Amghar Moussem is a major heritage gathering where spirituality, equestrian traditions and popular celebration come together as a collective experience rooted in a territory.
A place of devotion and gathering
The moussem honours Moulay Abdellah Amghar and retains an important religious dimension through visits, rituals, samaa and moments of contemplation. Around this spiritual core, a vast temporary settlement of camps, markets and performance spaces takes shape.
Tbourida at the heart of the programme
Sorbas from different regions present Tbourida sequences based on rider coordination, mastery of the horses and the synchronised gunpowder salute. Falconry, especially associated with the knowledge of the Abda region, extends this presence of heritage practices linked to animals and territory.
Halqa, music and the local economy
Halqa arts, songs, popular performances, crafts, food and commerce give the moussem its family and festive character. The event brings together riders, artists, craftspeople, associations, traders and residents, generating significant activity for the surrounding area.
2026 edition
The programme is announced from 7 to 14 August 2026 in the commune of Moulay Abdellah, near El Jadida. Dates and access arrangements should be confirmed through the official programme before travelling.
