From 11 to 14 June 2026, the 21st Ogulin Fairy Tale Festival presented a programme devoted to storytelling, theatre and creativity for young audiences.

The 2026 edition

The Regoč, Đulin vrt, Potjeh and Palunko stages hosted performances, storytelling, workshops and participatory activities. The programme ranged from street theatre to writing, drawing, making and play, with audiences moving easily between venues in the town centre.

Why this festival matters

The festival is closely connected to Ogulin, birthplace of writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. Since 2006, it has transformed streets, parks and cultural venues into a narrative environment where literature, oral traditions, performing arts and public participation meet.
