Festival Philosophy and debates Monte-Carlo, Monaco 24–28 June 2026

PhiloMonaco Week

A public week of philosophical conversations, books, workshops and debates addressing contemporary questions.

PhiloMonaco Week in Monaco

PhiloMonaco Week brings philosophers, writers, researchers, artists and audiences together around major contemporary questions. It promotes philosophy as a living and accessible cultural practice.

Thought through conversation

Morning sessions, dialogues, book presentations, philosophical lunches and round tables encourage ideas to circulate between specialists and citizens. The programme favours clarity, listening and productive disagreement.

Several generations

Workshops for younger audiences and events linking philosophy with literature, dance, health, politics and geopolitics broaden the reach of the week. Thought is approached as a shared way of reading experience and society.

2026 edition

From 24 to 28 June 2026, the programme explores desire in its personal, social and political forms. Topics include learning, democracy, addiction, writing and adventure, alongside the tenth anniversary of the PhiloMonaco Prize.
