Primavera Sound Porto is one of Portugal’s leading showcases for alternative and independent music. It takes place in the City Park, a large green space between central Porto and the Atlantic coast.
A Portuguese identity
Although connected to the Barcelona festival, the Porto edition has developed its own relationship with the city and local audiences. International names, emerging artists and Portuguese projects move between indie rock, pop, rap and electronic music.
A festival in an urban park
The landscape is central to the experience. Different stages range from large concerts to more intimate performances while maintaining a strong connection with the park.
