Gallery Kent in Tangier presents Mohamed Jaamati's Through the Window from 9 October to 9 November 2026, bringing together mainly works completed in 2026 with a selection of paintings from 1984–1993. The exhibition traces more than four decades of his evolving visual language.
Born in Tetouan in 1961, Jaamati works across painting, drawing, watercolour and mixed media. Northern Moroccan towns inspire his work: windows, facades, terraces, balconies and narrow streets become fragments of architecture and memory rather than conventional city views.
