On Thursday, 24 September 2026, Akim Omiri presents “Contexte” at Salle Haj Bahnini in Rabat. His second show turns tensions within public debate into incisive stand-up driven by sarcasm, social observation and critical thinking.
Using comedy to challenge shortcuts
Standardised education, social media, cancel culture and conspiracy theories are among the issues Omiri addresses. He examines how opinions are produced, circulated and turned into certainties, then uses humour to put facts, words and reactions back into context.
Comedy that extends into radio
A comedian, writer and radio commentator, Akim Omiri works on stage, online and on air. He hosts “La Riposte” on Radio Nova. “Contexte” is co-written with Kaza, who also directs the show.
