Iqtibās, created by Sarah M., comes to Salle Haj Bahnini in Rabat on Thursday 29 October 2026 as part of Jassad Festival and the French Institute's J-Lioum cultural season.

Abel and Balkis are deeply in love until an earthquake in Morocco changes their lives. Her disappearance sends Abel on a journey through memory, language and cultural heritage. Theatre, dance, slam and live music blend into an exploration of identity and the relationship between Morocco and France.

Featuring Hayet Darwich, Maxime Lévêque and musician Osam, the 75-minute show is performed in French and Moroccan Arabic and is recommended for ages 14 and above.
