From October 22 to 25, 2026, Anchor Point hosts the fifth Taghazout Surf Expo, a professional and public event dedicated to the surf ecosystem. Set a few metres from the ocean, the gathering brings together brands, equipment manufacturers, shapers, surf schools and clubs, surf camps, associations, researchers, project leaders and tourism professionals. The 2026 edition announces an expanded village, conferences, workshops and training sessions focused on passing surf culture to younger generations, women’s role in the ecosystem, local economic development and the protection of coastlines and marine environments. The event also connects sport with culture, wellbeing and environmental awareness through family activities, beach initiatives, professional meetings and a free open-air artistic programme of live concerts and DJ sets. By bringing together sport, creativity and territorial development, Taghazout Surf Expo strengthens Taghazout’s position as a major hub for surf culture in Morocco and Africa.
