American Language Center El Jadida

## Cultural identity and non-profit mission **American Language Center El Jadida** is located at **29 Rue Chahid Hassan Ben Yedar, corner of Rue Loudiyi in Koudiat Ben Driss**, and belongs to the independent non-profit **American Cultural Association**. It combines **English education, Moroccan–American cultural exchange, collective activities and community service**. The ACA directory and the centre's own 2026 updates confirm its ongoing presence; it is not a language school directly administered by the U.S. consulate. ## Courses, creativity and community The centre teaches **children, teenagers and adults** and organises family-friendly activities beyond classrooms. On **18 July 2026**, it announced a **free Open House carnival** featuring **games, drawing and colouring workshops and creative activities for children and families**. Crucially, the event was advertised **at Label Gallery in El Jadida**, not necessarily at the language-centre building. Community engagement and an English-teaching internship initiative offer further opportunities for skills and volunteering. ## 2026 updates and programme verification The centre announced its regular **August 2026 closure** and restarted registration in September for the **2026–2027 academic year**. Published post-holiday registration hours were **Monday–Friday 10 am–8 pm and Saturday 10 am–5 pm**, distinct from class times. Adult intensive courses took place in July, while a teacher-training initiative was announced to run **October through July**. Confirm remaining application conditions directly. **No named October 2026 public concert or performance was verified**. ## Practical access and contacts - **Address :** 29 rue Chahid Hassan Ben Yedar, angle rue Loudiyi, Koudiat Ben Driss, 24000 El Jadida, Maroc - **Phone :** +212 523 34 34 40 - **Email :** eljadida@acamorocco.org - **Official information :** [https://www.facebook.com/ALC.ElJadida](https://www.facebook.com/ALC.ElJadida) ## Related venues in Culturama [Institut français d’El Jadida](/institutions/institut-francais-el-jadida) · [American Language Center de Casablanca](/institutions/american-language-center-casablanca) ## Sources and cover image [aca.org.ma](https://aca.org.ma/contact-3/) · [www.schoolandcollegelistings.com](https://www.schoolandcollegelistings.com/MA/Al-Jadida/452591131574970/ALC-El-Jadida---American-Language-Center) · [www.linkedin.com](https://www.linkedin.com/company/american-language-center-el-jadida) · [aca.org.ma](https://aca.org.ma/about-us/) *Wikimedia Commons : drapeau américain de substitution ; pas une photographie des locaux d'El Jadida.*
