A public cultural centre in central Azilal
The Azilal Cultural Centre, also known as the House of Culture, is located on Mohammed V Avenue. It hosts performances, public meetings, workshops, Amazigh heritage programmes and activities centred on books and reading.
In 2022, its public library held 7,330 books in Arabic, Amazigh, French, English and other languages. Five computers were also available to visitors free of charge.
Reading, learning and Amazigh culture
Separate reading areas serve adults and children. The centre also hosts educational encounters, training workshops, children’s reading clubs and cultural competitions.
On 14 January 2025, its hall welcomed the second edition of a festival celebrating the Amazigh New Year through music, dance, photography, textiles and traditional objects.

The centre is on Mohammed V Avenue, close to the Central High Atlas Hospital and the provincial cultural offices. The published telephone number is +212 523 45 94 24.
Library hours are listed as Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. As programmes may change, visitors should confirm activities before travelling.
