About Berkane House of Culture
A renewed public cultural facility for Berkane
The Berkane House of Culture reopened after a major rehabilitation programme and was officially inaugurated in November 2025. It provides the city with a public venue for performance, reading, learning and creative practice.
Its principal auditorium has 474 seats and can host theatre, music, public meetings and cultural events. The building also includes a children’s area, an adult reading space, a computer and multimedia room, an art gallery and a music institute.
Programming, learning and public access
The combination of stage, gallery, library-related services and arts education allows the institution to support both cultural programming and sustained participation. Current schedules, enrolment periods and access conditions should be checked through the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication or its regional cultural services.
