Boujdour Public Cultural Centre

## About the centre The **Boujdour Cultural Centre** is a public facility within the **Laâyoune–Sakia El Hamra** regional cultural administration. Its administrative existence is documented in **2026 public-procurement notices** issued by the regional Culture Directorate, which explicitly identify both the cultural centre and the **Boujdour library**. These names are treated as separate facilities until the authorities confirm their exact relationship and room arrangements. ## Programmes and facilities In **September 2026**, tender **08/DC/2026** concerned reception, safety, surveillance and guarding services for the centre's administrative premises and the library. Another regional tender from **July 2026** covered facilities in Boujdour and Es-Semara. These documents establish that the site is part of the public infrastructure managed by the regional administration. **They do not independently establish a public programme, seat count or normal visitor opening hours**, which must be confirmed event by event. ## Access and current status The centre belongs to a wider local network including libraries, youth houses and educational facilities. A ministry communication in **May 2026** discussed rebuilding Boujdour's **Maison des jeunes** and other projects; these are **distinct from the cultural centre**, and their activities should not be attributed to it. Visitors should consult the regional cultural office for admission arrangements and current programming. The cover photograph presents **a general view of Boujdour**, not the venue exterior. - **Location :** Boujdour, région Laâyoune–Sakia El Hamra ; adresse et accès public à vérifier auprès de la direction régionale - **Further information :** check official notices and individual organisers ## Other Culturama public venues [Maison de la Culture Oum Saâd – Laâyoune](/institutions/maison-culture-laayoune) · [Centre culturel Cheikh Sidi Ahmed Rguibi – Es-Semara](/institutions/centre-culturel-cheikh-sidi-ahmed-rguibi-es-semara) ## Sources and image [cpmaroc.com](https://cpmaroc.com/appels-offres/113756) · [marchefacile.ma](https://marchefacile.ma/marches/34675-08dc2026-lacceuil-la-securite-la-surveillance-et-gardiennage-des-locaux-administratifs-du-centre-culturel-de-boujdour-et-la-bibliotheque-de-boujdour-lot-unique) · [mjcc.gov.ma](https://mjcc.gov.ma/fr/la-ville-de-boujdour-commemore-lanniversaire-de-la-marche-verte-par-le-lancement-de-projets-de-developpement-au-profit-de-la-jeunesse-et-de-lenfance/) *Zenwort / Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 4.0 — vue générale de Boujdour (2022), non du centre culturel.*
