Médiouna Public Cultural Centre

## About the venue and its role The **Médiouna Cultural Centre**, also referred to as the **Médiouna Cultural Complex**, is a public venue for performance and cultural activity in the municipality of Médiouna, east of Casablanca. Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication includes it in its **2026 list of venues available for hosting resident theatre companies**. The municipality also records a rehabilitation project for the cultural complex. This site should be distinguished from local youth centres and other social or educational facilities. ## Verified programme and activities Documented activity in **2026** includes a stop of the **Arwah Ghiwania** festival on **5 June**, celebrating Morocco’s Ghiwani musical heritage and women performers, notably **Angham Ghiwania** and **Essiham**, with further festivities on 6 June. Its place in the ministry's theatre-residency programme also provides a framework for performance activity, but does not itself establish a continuously published season or fixed public opening hours. ## Visitor information and limitations By hosting live music and theatre-related initiatives outside central Casablanca, the centre contributes to territorial access to artistic experiences. Visitors should check the specific organiser's announcement for showtime, ticket conditions, accessibility and the correct entrance. **A precise street address, telephone number and permanent opening hours remain unverified.** The cover image is **a map locating Médiouna province**, not a photograph of the cultural building. - **Location :** Médiouna, province de Médiouna, région Casablanca–Settat ; rue et numéro à confirmer - **Programme :** check organiser notices and the relevant cultural administration ## Explore other cultural centres [Centre culturel de Ben Ahmed](/institutions/centre-culturel-ben-ahmed) · [Maison de la Culture de Benslimane](/institutions/maison-culture-benslimane) ## Documented sources [daam.minculture.gov.ma](https://daam.minculture.gov.ma/resources/files/CPS_theatre_2026.pdf) · [tanwer.ma](https://tanwer.ma/2026/06/08/%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86%D8%A9-%D8%AA%D9%81%D8%AA%D8%AD-%D8%A3%D8%A8%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%87%D8%A7-%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%B5%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%86%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D8%BA%D9%8A%D9%88/) · [communemediouna.ma](https://communemediouna.ma/ar/projets) *Image : WIKINABO / Wikimedia Commons — carte de la province, CC BY-SA 4.0 ; illustration géographique, pas photo du centre.*
