Espace Beckett – Institut français Tangier

## Venue and facilities **Espace Beckett** is the Institut français de Tanger's dedicated performing arts and rehearsal complex on **Rue Okba Ibn Nafie**, separate from its public reception site at **2 Place de France**. Facilities include a stage, dance studio, music room and an arts workshop with exhibition space. An official artistic-residency brochure specifies a **126-seat performance hall with a 30 sq m stage**, a 95 sq m dance floor and a 60 sq m music room with piano. Older descriptions give other audience capacities, so event organisers should confirm current seating with venue management. ## The 2026 programme The venue supports **theatre, live music, visual experiments and artist residencies**. The April 2026 « Jazz à Tanger » series featured the Tanger Swing Quintet; **« KYF! »** presented interactive video and electronic music in June; and family-oriented performance has featured in the « Comme des grands » programme. Culturama lists **« IQTIBĀS » for 24 October 2026** and **DeLaurentis's « Unica » for 15 November**. Ticket prices and accessibility arrangements belong to individual programmes, not to a fixed venue-wide tariff. ## Practical visiting details - **Address:** Rue Okba Ibn Nafie, Tanger 90000, Maroc - **Telephone:** +212 539 94 57 00 - **Official website:** [https://if-maroc.org/tanger/](https://if-maroc.org/tanger/) - **Opening:** The venue operates on the schedule of each show, workshop or residency; confirm tickets and access. - **Before travelling:** confirm the event time, ticketing, accessibility and updates with the organiser. ## Related Culturama events [IQTIBĀS — 24 octobre 2026](/agenda/iqtibas-sarah-m-tanger-2026-d337750a-d347-4854-a9f9-e41bcc169cf3) · [DeLaurentis — Unica](/agenda/delaurentis-unica-tanger-2026-38ae77fd-11b1-42f3-928d-65045b2596cf) · [Daniel dans la nuit — archives](/agenda/spectacle-daniel-dans-la-nuit-tanger-2025-02-21-c753922b-4b71-4dd6-8392-f99dbbdbfd7c) ## Discover related venues [Institut français de Tanger](/institutions/ifm-tanger) · [Musée-Fondation Lorin](/institutions/musee-fondation-lorin-tanger) ## Editorial sources [if-maroc.org](https://if-maroc.org/tanger/cours/) · [if-maroc.org](https://if-maroc.org/tanger/evenements/kyf-spectacle-audiovisuel-interactif-afro-synth/) · [if-maroc.org](https://if-maroc.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Brochure-appels-a-candidatures-IFM-2025_WEB.pdf)
