Lalla Aïcha Cultural Centre – M’diq

M’diq’s public cultural centre

The Lalla Aïcha Cultural Centre, also known as Lalla Aïcha Theatre and M’diq House of Culture, is one of the city’s main public cultural facilities. Located on Avenue Lalla Nezha, it supports reading, learning, public discussion and artistic programmes.

Opened in February 2004 through cooperation between the ministry responsible for culture and the municipality, the venue originally included reading rooms, a learning space and a multipurpose hall for conferences and exhibitions.

A stage for theatre and cinema

Lalla Aïcha Theatre hosts stage productions, cultural encounters and regional events. It has taken part in the National Theatre Festival programme and is among the northern cultural venues equipped for public film screenings.
