A public cultural facility in central Tamesna
The Tamesna Cultural Centre is one of the city’s principal public cultural facilities. Its hall hosts film screenings, performances, public encounters, educational activities and programmes developed with schools and local associations.
On 7 March 2024, the centre hosted the national launch of the first phase of Morocco’s programme to open 150 cinema screens. This confirmed its role in extending access to film beyond the country’s largest commercial circuits.
