Galerie des Promesses — Open Call for Emerging Visual Artists

Galerie des Promesses is a visual arts support programme run by the Institut français in Oujda. It is intended for amateur and emerging artists wishing to present an exhibition project to the public. Painting, sculpture, design, drawing, photography, illustration and mixed practices are welcome, provided the proposal forms a coherent body of work that can be installed in the Petite Galerie.\n\nThe application must include the exhibition title and synopsis, photographs of the proposed works, a biographical note with full contact details and a precise description of installation requirements, including supports, display methods, multimedia equipment or additional materials. Applications are accepted only by email at [email protected].\n\nSelected artists receive a three- to four-week exhibition, installation assistance, communication content and media outreach, invitations distributed through the Institut’s network and an opening event. The programme therefore supports not only access to a venue but the practical development of an exhibition, from selection and installation to mediation and public encounter. The call remains open until December 31, 2027 for the 2026–2027 cultural season.
