The Casablanca Arab Film Festival circulates films from Morocco, the Maghreb, the Middle East and Arab diasporas, offering local audiences a broad view of contemporary stories, languages and cinematic forms.
Artistic identity and public role
Feature and short films, fiction and documentary meet in competitions accompanied by discussions, tributes and special screenings. Emerging filmmakers and first works receive visibility beyond normal commercial distribution.
Transmission and current edition
Workshops and professional encounters link creation, production and audiences in Morocco’s main economic metropolis. The seventh edition ran from 17 to 24 July 2026 with 29 competing works, screenings and industry activities.
