Casablanca Arab Film Festival poster

The Casablanca Arab Film Festival creates a space for films, filmmakers and debates emerging from contemporary Arab societies. In Morocco’s economic capital, it connects artistic creation, public engagement and the film industry.

A panorama of Arab cinema

The programme combines feature and short films, fiction and documentary, official competitions and special screenings. It gives visibility to new cinematic languages, first features and films exploring social change, collective memory and individual experience.

Training, encounters and production

Masterclasses, workshops, roundtables and conversations with film teams extend the screenings. The festival therefore brings together audiences, students, artists, critics and professionals working across production, distribution and exhibition.

2026 edition

The seventh edition runs from July 17 to 24, 2026. It presents 29 works in competition, thirteen films outside competition, professional workshops, encounters and tributes to leading figures in Arab cinema.
