About this event
The seventh Casablanca Arab Film Festival runs from 17 to 24 July 2026, bringing audiences, filmmakers and industry professionals together around contemporary Arab cinema.\n\nThe official competition features 29 works: 12 fiction and documentary feature films and 17 short films from across the Arab world. A further 13 films are presented out of competition. The selection explores intimate stories as well as social, human and historical themes, including two Moroccan feature films in competition.\n\nAlongside screenings, the festival offers masterclasses, professional workshops, roundtables, meetings with film teams and tributes to leading figures in Arab cinema. The event is organised by the Imtidad Association for Culture and Development, in partnership with Casablanca City Council and with support from the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre. Admission is free for the public and industry professionals, subject to registration and accreditation.
