From 28 to 31 May 2026, Cest is d’Best celebrated its 30th edition by turning central Zagreb’s streets and squares into a large open-air stage.
The 2026 edition
Musicians, actors, dancers, circus performers, jugglers, clowns and visual artists occupied several urban locations. Concerts, participatory performances, art interventions and children’s activities allowed audiences to move freely between events.
Why this festival matters
Founded in 1997, Cest is d’Best promotes popular and accessible street culture. Artists perform at pedestrian level, without a rigid division between stage and audience, inviting residents to experience squares, parks and pedestrian streets differently.
