The 43rd Dance Week Festival unfolded in Zagreb in two parts, from 25 to 27 April and from 19 to 27 May 2026, focusing on contemporary choreographic creation.
The 2026 edition
The programme brought together artists from Croatia, Canada, Slovenia, Czechia, Poland and other European scenes. Full-length works, short formats, works in progress, laboratories, free events and an exhibition marking 35 years of the Zadar Dance Ensemble created a varied festival landscape.
Why this festival matters
