From 2 to 4 July 2026, the 18th Lavender Festival connected Hvar town and Velo Grablje through the landscapes, skills and memories associated with one of the island’s defining crops.

The 2026 edition

The programme included lavender harvesting, oil-distillation demonstrations, a local-products fair, dry-stone wall workshops, gastronomy, aromatic treatments, children’s activities, lectures, exhibitions, documentary film, theatre and concerts.

Living rural heritage
