The 56th Varaždin Baroque Evenings will take place from 18 to 29 September 2026, with Belgium as partner country.
The 2026 edition
The festival opens in the cathedral with the B’Rock Orchestra, Philippe Jaroussky and Céline Scheen, followed by baroque ensembles, chamber orchestras, singers and instrumentalists in churches, palaces, castles and historic halls. Vivaldi, Monteverdi, Bach and Handel meet Croatian musical heritage.

Founded in 1971 and recognised as an event of national significance, the festival supports research, performance and preservation of Croatian baroque works. Concerts are complemented by scholarly and heritage programmes.
